COMPETENCY COURSES

This Course is taught Via Physical classes, as per DGS Orders 11 of 2022. Candidates will need to be present at the booked HMI campus and attend Physical classroom Sessions. Saturday & Sunday are Mostly Holidays (unless specified) E-Learning for this Competency course must be completed (on DGS E-Learning Site- Competency section) during the Non-Class hours daily & Holidays and be completed prior to completion of this course. A DGS Online Certificate Fee of Rs. 200 (Fee with GST) shall be applicable to all Candidates for Issuance of Certificate and will be collected at the time of Booking.

This is a D.G. Shipping Approved course of 4 Months Duration. The course enables a Seafarer to attain the required Knowledge & Competence to become as 2nd Engineer onboard a FG ship after clearing the DGS Examination. This course is Mandatory for Seafarers holding MEO Class 4 COC and aspiring to appear for MEO Class 2 Examinations at MMDs.
