Dilip Kumar Ghosh is a Master Mariner (FG) (DGS FIN No. T10646) with 25 years of sea-going experience and 16 years of teaching experience. His extensive maritime expertise and long academic career enable him to provide high-quality training in navigation, ship operations, and maritime safety.

Hari Shankar is a seasoned marine professional with over 14 years of sailing experience, including service as Chief Engineer on foreign-going vessels. He brings extensive shore-based expertise from his 7-year tenure at Cochin Shipyard Limited, where he held senior managerial roles and served as Factory Manager at CKSRU, leading complex ship repair and dry docking operations. He is an approved FSI Nautical Surveyor for the Marshall Islands and a DNV-certified ISM, ISPS, and MLC Surveyor. Additionally, he contributes to maritime training and standards as an External Examiner for MMD Kolkata. As Co-founder and Director of the Shipsmith Group, he is actively driving innovation in ship repair, retrofit solutions, and marine services, combining deep technical knowledge with strong leadership in the maritime industry.

Anand Kumar Babu is a seasoned maritime professional with extensive sea-going experience in the merchant navy. Throughout his sailing career, he served aboard various ocean-going vessels, developing expertise in shipboard operations, safety management, and marine engineering. His practical knowledge of international maritime regulations, onboard administration, and crew management enables him to provide valuable guidance to aspiring seafarers. At Mercantile Marine Academy, he applies his industry experience to support students through the admission process while helping them understand career pathways in the global shipping industry.
